[~Kousaka Renn~]
[~C L O S E D R P ~]
{{ Engine Sentai GoOnger! }}
{{ Esumi Sousuke }}
Finally, events were changing, life was starting to return to normal. After all, dangers were slowly starting to fade away now that the great Army was defeated, the Go-Ongers separating through to their own ways that they used to be. Renn returned to being a bus driver. Hanto to a pizza man. Even the sour face continued to becoming a police officer after everything was said and done.
It was lonely, though. So lonely. Bus-On was no longer there. His teammates he used to nurture were no longer there either. At least he could put a smile on his face by knowing that the world was in a time of peace once more.. that no longer were innocents in the way of harm from beings that those that were ordinary would never be able to protect them from.
He gave a soft smile to the last woman that he allowed off the bus. It had been a long day of starting and stopping, beginning and ending, seeing old faces, a new one or two oft added into the mix. All of these people were those that he and his friends had protected and saved. All of these innocents were those that he knew.
Even though they would never know, several of them were those that he knew really well. He had seen them cry, tears pouring down their features as they were struggling against monsters, smiles of relief crossing their faces as the heroes known as the great Sentai arrived to protect them!
It was nostalgic.. It was saddening. Turning the wheel of the bus to the side, he stopped on the side of the road, allowing his vision to become slightly blurry finally as he took a look down at the cellphone that he held on his lap. A cell phone that may possibly no longer ring. A momento of days past.
"This is okay though," he chided himself as he pulled his notebook out of his pocket, a small well of information that he would carry around at all times as he drew down enemies and the abilities that they had, the times he would write down the Engine Souls so that he could tinker with them to make them even more powerful.
Flipping to the back page, something he had never done, he blinked in surprise at the small message that had been scribbled down towards the bottom right hand corner. The smile crossing his lips was far more blinding and positive than anything he had been doing for the past month after the final battle was done.
"Sousuke," he whispered quietly, shaking his head in respect and admiration of his former leader, and current friend. Of course he would leave him one last message.
There was very little that the man would not do in order to keep in contact with his friends. After all, it was Sousuke that helped to keep them all together. It was that man that gave them strength, pulled them along, made them as powerful as they could be. The time where they thought he was going to die...
No, no. Let's not think about that.
Swiftly turning the bus' steering wheel, he got back on the road, quickly returning to the place he knew he could meet his friend - the race track where he, Sousuke, and Saki first met their Engine Souls.
