Another cloudy night rolls in to cover the last of twilight sky, as if the blackness failed to come fast enough. The rolling gray rapidly becomes as invisible as the stars it conceals, but the air still is humid. The low sky imparts a claustrophobic tension, and to some the only thing to do is seek shelter and sleep out the foreshadowing weather condition to come.
It was no later rain battered the earth. Droplets falling in chaotic rhythm, ripping at the surface. Wind carrying them in vortices one moment, and diagonal sheets the next. The wind howled, and with the current carried a drape of deep crimson.
Ripened gore fled gaping wounds of the porcelain body, once a frame of sensual elegance and a regal smile, now reduced to something parallel of an ungainly, life-sized doll. Congealed substance would flow between the pavement, fleeing into the back-street gutter.
The culprit responsible for the heinous act was not hidden from sight. In fact, they were now lowered onto all fours; briefly taking the stance of a predator that was quadrupedal. Hands and knees, as the guttural bellow resonated from callous sounding vocal chords. If one were to stand at full posture, they would be six feet in height, hence why it needed to lower in order to carry out the rest of it’s ambition.
Lilacs of intestine were heaved from the abdomen in a single tug that was preformed by the usage of dagger-like implements. A semi proportion of the ash colored maw stained with tissue, dangling from the chin and below the peculiar skin complexion.
Auburn forelocks created a shroud over the eyes. Masking them perfectly from sight as he fed. The ornate blue mask simply set aside on the concrete. Devoid of mess as the hooded sweat shirt was.

Ōku Nomoji [~Yang Xiao-Long~]
"And this party is gonna go out with a Yang!" She waited for the applause from their friends, both from Team RWBY and Team JNPR, but so far, it seemed as no one had found the humor in yet another one of her puns. Crossing her arms across her bosom, she sighed as she shook her blonde locks. "None of you guys are any fun."
Spotting Ruby coming around the corner, she stood, walking over to her sister and pulling her into a tight hug. "They're not laughing at my puns again, what do we do?" she asked, totally saying the words so the others could hear the teasing sound in her tone.
Yang was a tough woman , someone that didn't need the others to baby her, but at the same time, she preferred playing the social card, being the most carefree member of her team in particular. A joker by heart, wise by nature, and totally confident in her appearance, Yang was, all around, the most blunt person there was.
"You know, if you could all learn a little bit more humor, maybe you could all be a bit happier in life." She waited on the others to berate her more, rolling those lilac eyes of hers as she listened to their words.
"Come on, Rubes. Let's head out for a bit."
When her sister shook her head no at her, she couldn't help but feel her heart drop, at least a little bit. Oh well, that was fine! Ruby had her own friends that she wanted to spend time with, after all!
Pyrrha had been acting weird lately, and the doubles round was already finished - Yang had a blast against a certain Faunus and her Jazz Playing partner - at least... you know.. after all the name calling had ended.
Reaching out to pat her sister on the shoulder, she turned around and left from the library. Maybe she could find something interesting later on!
---
Heading out into Vale, she realized that it had been far later than she had thought it was. The lights were growing dimmer, the sun already starting to fade behind the shadows of the clouds. Not even the moon was offering light to see through...
Moving forward, the brawler was about to head home until she heard sounds that should not have been heard..
And when she reaches the scene, she sends up a loud scream. What was going on here?
"STOP IT!" she shouts, bumping her fists together to cause her gauntlets, Ember Celica, to come to full blown life.

Êyeless Sâvage Jâck
Êyeless Sâvage Jâck Pause.
One would halt on cue at said words, yet this wasn't before he proceeded to savor the small driblet of crimson still attached to his index first. Jagged ivory sinking into the calloused digit and supple flesh, but not breaking skin. Finally, congealed liquid lacking all trace of color arose from the forming wound. Slowly, and with nonchalant motion he swiveled. Furthermore, standing away from the bloodied carcass and facing the individual whom had intervened his business.
Most who thought him completely nil of vision in this particular form had much to learn there was more than the front he let on. The girl; a familiar face at that, too. Recognition dawned upon his visage, the murderer seemingly intrigued at how she was quick to perk up at the offense.
"Oh-
You again.
Is there something the matter? I'd say you look extremely.. pale."
Lids would flutter to a close, before parting abroad shortly after next. Emerald colored hues glazed with casual indifference, taking up the hollowed sockets he once sported. This transformation also had morphed his skin pigment into a lighter creme color. Albeit, the blood remained the same, plastered to his being nevertheless. Mild curiosity had plucked at him, why was she so fired up? He swabbed his hand against the fabric of his jeans, then grasping a hold of the skull wallet chain attached to his waist, he idly whirling the accessory in a spiral. A simper curled to stained lips, "You see, all this is a misunderstanding.."
