[~Weiss Schnee~]
[~ C L O S E D R P ~]
{RWBYverse}
Weiss Schnee, Heiress of the Schnee Dust Company of Atlas. Weiss Schnee, the perfect angel among the Hunters and Huntresses of Beacon Academy, leagues above them in wisdom, skill, and the inherent ability to battle. Weiss Schnee, partner to the Leader of Team RWBY. Weiss Schnee, the girl everyone went after, wanted to befriend to get in on the good books.
Weiss Schnee... The loneliest person in all of Beacon.
Who was she, really? She knew who she was, she knew what she was. But what was it that made her... her? What was that essential base of emotion that truly made her special? Was it her sense of fashion? Her callous remarks? The way she would always do her best to be perfect, no matter what the situation rose too?
Was it her grades? Her brilliance? Her ability to utilize Glyphs in the most perfect harmony to create wild attacks and killer combos? Was it in the scar across her eye, the harshness of her tone, the tears that crossed her eyes every night before bed?
Weiss Schnee... the loneliest of all.
Another day at Beacon had finally made her reach her wits. As much as she loved her team - especially now that she had grown to know them, now that the group seemed to be a little more calm and more complete - she had to get away sometimes. There was only so much joy she could take at any given time before she started to feel as though she were.. well.. as though she were a burden.
She knew she wasn't; there wasn't a possible way for her to be, was there? Then again, she was a kill joy. She was someone who frowned a lot. She had too much on her mind, too much to think about and not enough time on her hands for just following around with the crowd. Already, her father had attempted to call her Scroll again - probably to yell at her about joining Beacon - and she had promptly hung up. What was the point in talking to someone who would never understand anything? Someone that merely saw her as a possession versus someone who wanted to stretch her wings and become free?
When had she started realizing things like this, started thinking about the pain of being alone? Maybe it was her first day at Beacon when she was almost blown off the side of the cliff, or maybe it was the day she started seeing just how hard the others worked to include each other - and inevitably herself as well. She had always known she was lonely, trapped, frozen in time to a beat that not even her heart could shatter. It was almost as though her very pulse was synchronized to the pain that continued to flow through her life.
Mother, gone. Father, not worth mentioning. Stressful relationship with her sister. Mending relationships with Blake and Ruby although they were still close. The only person she felt she was truly close too on that team was Yang Xiao-Long, the person who helped teach her to be able to sing again, the person who told her that everything wasn't always as bad as it seemed. But still, there was so much that made it so she couldn't break free of the past; made it so she was still.. stuck.
No matter how hard she wanted to break free, she was still, truly, a caged bird, a bird whose voice would never be able to rise and surprise the rest of the world with her beautiful tunes. A bird that was left to rot in the ruin of a catastrophic life with various disappointments and responsibilities.
Still, she was blessed for what she had now, and thinking of the grandeur of her friends was what brought the smile to her face, a smile that normally would have never etched itself across her features.
Crimson Rose was a silly boy, two years too early to have came to Beacon. They didn't get on the right foot when they had first appeared, but later on, he had proved himself to be a capable leader, ally, and friend... and Weiss had shown that she was more than willing to become the best partner ever allied to him.
Blake Belladonna was ... quiet. She was depressive and upset at the best of times, and there were times where Weiss worried herself stupid over her health - not that she was going to tell her any of that, of course. Still, she was someone that was always willing to lend a listening ear, someone that she could just spend a moment of silence with if she didn't want to talk. Usually, that silence was golden, sometimes broken by quiet laughs on both of their sides.
Finally, there was Yang. Yang Xiao-Long, the Pun Queen of Beacon. Yang was the person that started everything with Weiss, had really started breaking her out of the frozen tundra she had hidden herself away in. The Sun of Team RWBY and the Frost seemed to be something that no one would ever have imagined to be a good pair, but they truly were. They worked well together, understood each other better than anyone else on their team.. It was Yang that helped keep Weiss' spirits up, and Weiss that helped keep the flaming temper down.
In the end, their entire team was a team of opposites, but that was the beauty of it. That was, indeed, the perfection of their team.
Regardless of her thoughts, however, that nagging feeling of becoming too close to those she shouldn't, that emotion of being annoying, seemed to stretch itself across her mind. Nature had a serene feel to it, a means of calming her down, and thus, she had came to the park, breathing in the soft scent of the lake, watching the birds flying through the air.
Oh, how she wished she could be like those birds... Carefree, gentle, oh so free...
She stopped as she took a gaze at them, her icy orbs slowly seeming to melt, a single sweet tear rolling its way down her smooth, alabaster cheek. Lifting her sleeve, she wiped it away, hoping beyond hope that no one had caught her in her brief moment of weakness.
Weiss Schnee? Crying? How ludicrous! she chided herself. Come on, Weiss, you can do better than this.
Picking up one of her feet, the boot shining in the sunlight, she was about to take another step before...
"Weiss, Weiss! You need to come to the school right now! There's a new mission on the board that we can go on!"
Blinking, the icy blue orbs narrowed significantly as she read the message offered her from her leader and teammate. If this was who she thought it was... this was not going to be good - for their name anyway.
Immediately, she set off towards Beacon. Maybe, if they were lucky, they could get a new mission that wasn't dependent on Oobleck...
----
Finally, she reached Beacon. It was obvious from the glances around her that they had viewed this mission as a method of picking out who the lamest team of the Academy was going to be, another method of weeding out the weak from the strong.
"Excuse me, Heiress coming through!" she shouted, causing the students to part their ways as she shoved past them.
"Seriously, do you not know how to handle onlookers?" she asked, pointing her finger at the male. "You had one job, and so far, you have done nothing but mess it up! Let's go before they continue to make you appear like a total dolt!"
Immediately, she drags Crimson away, shaking her head in slight anger. "What are you doing!" she hissed. "WHY are you trying to get us to go on yet ANOTHER mission with OOBLECK of all teachers!?!"

Crïmsøn CrêscëntRøsē Scythê Crimson Rose.
A rather carefree, if not entirely naive, young man attending Beacon Academy. As leader of team RWBY, a lot of responsibility fell on Crimson - responsibilites he didn't entirely felt he lived up to. He second guessed every move - sometimes triple-guessed - and it didn't help that Weiss was always yelling in his ear about it!
Speaking of...
The red-cloaked male made a yelp of surprise as he found himself being dragged away from the mission board. He was extremely confused, until a particularly cold (and all too familiar) voice rang out, chiding him for his selection in missions.
"Whaaaaaat?" He whined, flailing his arms comedically as she continued to haul him away, drawing the attention and laughter of their fellow students. "I like Oobleck! And we did really well on that last mission with him." At this, he poked his fingers together. "Sort of....are you gonna let go of me any time soon?!"

Ōku Nomoji "You were supposed to choose someone with a little bit more finesse!" she shouted out at him, poking him in the nose again before letting the boy loose when she noticed that she was clinging to him still. She whirls around on her heel, crossing her arms as she lifted her head haughtily into the air.
"This is a horrible idea, you dolt! Do you have any idea what this could do to our reputation? What this could do to us as a T E A M?"
Oobleck wasn't a cool, hip teacher that could actually fight his way out of a paper bag! She knew he was a competent fighter; after all, their last mission to Mountain Glenn had proven that. All the same, no one else knew about what the speedy intellectual could do, and that made it all the more difficult for Weiss to show her face around the school once her fellows asked about their mission.
At least last time, they had a reason as to why they even bothered going with the green haired historian! Now, they could have free reign to choose whatever they wished to pick, and Crimson just HAD to pick the lamest professor of all!
"We were supposed to do something lowkey for once!"

Crïmsøn CrêscëntRøsē Scythê "Oh, come on, gimme a break!" He said, crossing his arms. "I don't see you pumping out any good suggestions!" He was genuinely angry now - he had done his best to pick a mission that would play to their strengths - it wasn't his fault that Oobleck just happened to be the one in charge!
"I'm sure Blake and Yang are gonna be just fine with the mission! Not everyone's always worried about our reputation, Ice Queen!" He belted out the last two words angrily, turning on his heel and storming away back towards the dorms.
