He was paranoid, now. It was a constant paranoia that seemed to flow through his form as he constantly kept an eye over his teammates and Ruby. He already knew that they would all watch over the younger female, but that was what stressed him out more about his team.
They had both lost so much, so many of the people that should have remained with them. Blake ran off. Yang was still in her depression. SnowAngel had been stolen back and taken to Atlas. Penny was ... gone. Mercury and Emerald had never been their friend. Cardin disappeared. Ozpin was kidnapped. Who knew where the rest of the adults and their classmates were.
... And Pyrrha... Pyrrha was... She was...
He pulled out his Scroll, looking at the ever lasting notification that proved what a failure he truly was. He hadn't even been able to save the woman that he loved - his teammate - his partner - the person who kept him on his toes, helped him become a better fighter. The person that had /FAITH/ in him, and he let her DOWN.
While the rest of the team was Green and full of aura, Pyrrha's was down at the bottom, completely wiped out. It wasn't even in the red... It was her being completely gone.
"Pyrrha..." he whispered softly, the tears that never seemed to stop pouring slowly pitter-pattering onto the screen. "I'm... I'm so sorry. You should be here with us.. How did I let you go?"
