A Faunus. A creature that was created to have human attributes along with animalistic ones. Thus far, their entire history as to why they had first been created was completely unknown, and it was never to come to light, it seemed.
These creatures were turned against and jeered at every second of the day, treated as less than human, treated as though they were simple monsters that donned the appearance of man. Even then, they were also the ones that attempted to no end, to be able to continue freeing and protecting everyone that they could, just as welcome into the battle of the Grimm as any human.
It was painstaking. It was painful, and many of the Faunus had finally had enough. Forming a group known as the White Fang, the peaceful organization was soon ripped into chaos as man decided to do what was best for them and destroy. Destroy the souls of the creatures that were doing their best to handle everything the only way they knew how. Peaceful protest ended with beaten children and adults. Boycotts ended in destruction of mediocre property and long lost heirlooms..
Finally, there was a man who had enough; a Bull Faunus by the name of Adam. Taking over the position from the man who had attempted to keep everything positive and save for everyone, the Taurus reached out with an iron fist, transforming all of their ideals into something more.. dark, something far more violent.
Instead of creating a world where people could be free from prejudice and be respected, he created a world where the Faunus would become the oppressors, where the Faunus would be the ones who took control of everything, where Man would be frightened of the souls that had been born in a world where they were not wanted...
And not every Faunus was pleased with that.
One such man was Tukson. A man that had been able to serve underneath the previous, peaceful rule, he had decided once he had started seeing the atrocities that Adam had started coming to fruition, that he had wanted nothing to do with any of it. The only reason he had remained this long was as a spy, a spy of the utmost regard and availability to have his information be trusted.
Two sources gained that information - one was an associate at Beacon, someone attempting to remain on top of the criminal activity - a man known as Qrow. The other... the other was a little more odd. A man that was actually siding with the White Fang, but in a way that was completely different than what he was supposed to be doing. That man? Roman Torchwick.
Ever since Tukson had disappeared off the radar, it was Roman who was assisting him in disappearing off to Vacuo, who was trying beyond hope to be able to get him towards freedom.. And that was something that was honorable in the former member's eyes.
He had been remaining on the run for a while, keeping his bookstore as stocked as he could while he saved monetary funds to be able to leave into a new world to escape from the faction in Vale, and head towards a safer, brand new identity that awaited him thanks to some of Roman's former associates.
Jerking his head up when he hears the door bell ring from the front of the store, Tukson walked out, giving a smile as he sees a familiar, tri-colored-adorned head enter the store.
"Miss Neo. A pleasure to see you again, of course."

Polyxena Einar
Polyxena Einar The life of crime was not an easy one; and it was not a path that the young woman named Neapolitan had walked down carelessly. No. Neo had ran down the path of crime, full force, as soon as she realized that not walking down it meant losing Roman. Roman…her oldest, truest friend. The one person she could count on for anything.
The one person she knew felt the same way about her. Not that either of them would ever say as much. No; it was merely implied by their every action.
Not that Neo could actually speak. But then, that had never mattered to Roman. Once he’d decided she was a person worth caring about, he had learned how to communicate with her without words; an action that to this day still resonated strongly with her.
Some people might say that Roman was a contradictory person – saying one thing, and then doing the next.
Neo knew he was simply a person whose motives extended far beyond the superfluous. He had reasons for doing things a certain way, for taking certain actions, that she might never be able to understand. However, she also didn’t need to. The girl of tri-colored hair had long ago decided that she would follow Roman. No matter where. No matter what. Nothing would change her mind about that fact.
This of course also meant that whatever cause he dedicated himself to, the young woman also did. And who in their right minds would say no to Neo helping them out? She had long since proven herself as a more than capable fighter – and her semblance meant that she could disguise herself, could hide an escape…just about anything she so desired.
So when Roman asked her to make a discrete delivery? Well, Neo was all too happy to take care of the task. To anyone who saw the woman enter the shop, they’d have seen a tall brunette with vividly green eyes go in… Her disguise is already shattering as Tukson walks out from the back room.
Neo’s two-toned eyes meet Tukson’s, and she gives him the sign they had decided on for her meaning that she’d not been followed – so far as she knew, at least. One could never be truly sure with faunus such as Adam’s White Fang, or beings such as Cinder and her cohorts.
Walking forward to the counter, Neo pulls out an envelope from her jacket’s pocket, and slides it to the puma faunus across the other side.
Since Tukson has demonstrated a small working knowledge of signing previously, she makes a few simple signs, which all puzzle down to meaning, “there’s not much longer to make your move.”

Ōku Nomoji
Ōku Nomoji Tukson had been waiting anxiously for the documents that she had brought to him; after all, Roman had stated that things were going to be just a little bit more difficult than usual to get him what he needed to leave. The puma had made a bad choice in leaving the White Fang organization so soon after Cinder and Adam had made a pact together.. Maybe he should have left before and it wouldn't have caused so much of an uproar.
Even then, he had decided to take on the mission that the cloaked man, Qrow, had offered to him, and later on, had even saved Neo's life during one of the White Fang raids that she had been a part of. Through all of these things, his loyalties had been shown to the two small groups, and through that... well, he had gathered some good friends in high places.
It was not something that he needed to think about, however. If he kept thinking about things, if he kept living in the past, he would never be able to move on; he would never be free from the burdens that he carried, the information that he had found.
He was someone that had found out a horrible secret about Cinder and the rest of her little group - and that secret was something he could never open his mouth about to anyone except for Roman and Neo. Hopefully soon.. hopefully soon, he would be able to do such a thing... As for now, though...
He was stuck. Stuck knowing about the silver-eyed woman that was locked in the catacombs of the underground labrinths of Mountain Glenn.
Brown eyes search dual-colored ones, a slight nod crossing his features when he spots the small sign that she had offered him. Immediately, he allows her around the counter and into the darkness of his own, personal living space on the opposite side of the bookstore.
No better safe to hide than the one place they would never expect. Taking the envelope, he opens it, reading the information that was hidden inside. A new name. A new life. Everything that made Tukson himself was gone in that small package.
All he had to do now was, as she mentioned, wait. To bide his time until the perfect opportunity came for him to disappear to Vacuo.
"I understand. Thank you for everything that you have done, Neo. Tell Roman that as well."
He paused for a moment, a slight worry crossing his features. "... Is there anything else I can do to help /you?/"
