Things were strange in this new place.. It was clear that there weren't any Grimm, nor any other sort of creatures of nightmares surfacing from the pits of darkness, no one was being drawn towards her sense of unease and fright.
Oh well, if nothing was going to come after her, she would go after something else. After all, she wasn't going to be the one who was stuck in the middle of nowhere and get ambushed. She grins, punching her gauntlets together as she checks out how well her gear is now working in a new area. So far, everything still looked according to schedule. Even her Semblance still worked.
Making certain her prized possessions were filled with the ammunition she needed, the blonde stalked off, her lilac eyes taking in the scenery as best she could. It was pretty here, that much was for certain. It reminded her a lot of her family's home; the home that she hadn't been able to see for a while.
It tended to happen when someone was stuck at a school for training Hunters, but she didn't mind one bit. After all, she still spoke to her and Ruby's dad, Tai Yang, quite regularly. A letter every week, and a phone call every day. Typical Xiao-Long things.
Finally, a being caught her eye. Pausing, she will stop for a brief moment, calling out to them suddenly.
"Hey!"
Robin Grima
For another day in a life on the run, it certainly was full of sunshine and light. The grass was green, and the trees leafy. Summer crops had already begun to ripen - if only just barely.
Robin had lost count of how many years, how many days it had been since her mother took her and fled from her father. It felt like so long, now; like an eternity had passed since their flight had begun.
The first few years had gone well enough. They had moved often, trying to stay under the radar as they went further and further away. Their luck hadn't lasted. One day, her father's men finally caught up with her, and murdered her mother for 'treachery'.
How she had come to hate that word.
Robin had been running, hiding, on her own ever since. It had been years, it felt like, since she had seen a friendly face.
So, when the blonde girl in the distance called to her...Robin stared at her for a long moment, green eyes meeting lilac.
Her free hand moved to her sword. "What do you want?" She asked hoarsely.

Yang blinked at the way that she had spoken to her. It seems that this woman had a life that wasn't all sunshine and rainbows; all the same, not everyone that was from Remnant had. Very few tales were full of perfection, and even fewer of those stories were true.
Ember Celica ready and loaded in case of trouble, she walked a little bit more cautiously towards her, her long, golden hair flowing down her back. Of course, if anyone dared to touch it, she would go berserk and try to kill them, but she doubted this woman would do so.
The lilac eyes danced a little as she watched her move her hand to her sword, holding up her hands in a wary, yet non-dangerous, manner.
"Hey, hey, hold your horses there; I'm not here to Yang you up," she starts, chuckling at her own little pun. That was the thing about Yang; always ready with puns and quips for every day purposes.
"My name is Yang. Yang Xiao-Long. You seem to be new around here; I was just curious to see if there was anything I could do for you."
Robin Grima
Robin paused at the way the woman addressed her. She seemed so care-free and blissful. It was either a front, or she was some sheltered noble child. When considering the way the girl dressed, it was evermore a possibility.
"What are you doing out here by yourself?" The girl countered. "Won't your retainers be looking for you?" Someone had to be missing the girl, after all, right?
Her hand stayed on her sword, though she made no move to draw it. She hadn't decided yet if the the blonde was a danger or not.
She cleared her throat - clearly there would have to be talking, today. When she spoke, her voice was still rough, but less so.
"New around here?" Robin asked with a dull chuckle. "If you consider hanging out here the last month or so new...sure."
She continued watching the girl, wary. If she was in the forest of this girl's lands... Well, most nobles would get outraged. At least, most she had encountered.
