Rizu Lissa Ylisse with Lucina Yashi and Ōku Nomoji.
April 4 ·
{{ Closed RP. }}
How much time had passed? How long had it been since she had watched her friend screaming, and then silence, to slowly stand up and join the fell creature she knew lay beneath the hood so much like her friend's own previous one?
It felt like an eternity.
Sometimes, Jaune and the others registered on her radar. Sometimes she was more aware than others. Lissa knew they were worried about her, that they were concerned about her lack of appetite. But the fact of it all was, she just didn't care.
On some emotional range, Lissa knew how she was, was impacting Jaune, Nora, Ren, and Pyrrha. But on the days she even cared to notice, all she could think about was them keeping her away from her friend, keeping her from doing something, //anything// to help her.
Most days Lissa didn't even register passing. She knew she must be eating //something//, because she was still alive. She must be getting some kind of rest, because physically she wasn't exhausted. To some extent, she even realized that most of her days she spent sitting in a corner, her back to the wall and her staff forgotten on the floor beside her.
What did any of it matter, anymore? Robin was gone. Grima had her.
The blonde girl clenched her fists briefly, her first expression of any kind of emotion other than this blankness since the tactician's abduction. But then she released them again. Lissa couldn't fight. What good could she possibly do anyone?

Rizu Lissa Ylisse
Rizu Lissa Ylisse Qrow's words penetrated Lissa's awareness, and the young woman looked up at the doorway slowly. If he wasn't coming in on his own...well.. She wasn't going to open the door.
Thinking again made the memories begin to flash in her head again, and Lissa buried her face in her knees, clamping her hands over her ears. He'd go away if she didn't answer.
She didn't want to talk.
What could he possibly do?

Lucina Yashi
Lucina Yashi Lucina had accompanied Qrow silently into the dorms, her eyes taking in the glimpses of the people whom had been guarding her aunt. They were young, but had experience. That much the Ylissean princess could tell nearly immediately.
There would be time to get acquainted with them later.
Right now, the more pressing concern was Lissa, who had completely shut down in the wake of losing Robin.
The cobalt haired woman watched as Qrow talked to the door her aunt lay beyond, her lips pressed into a thin, concerned line. Lissa was clearly taking this worse than she had expected...
"Qrow..." The princess spoke, finally, straightening up. Her eyes fixed on the man's form with grave severity. "We don't have time for this. Allow me."

Lucina Yashi
Lucina Yashi Lucina could feel the concern from the people of this world who had come to care for Lissa, and glanced at the room her aunt's protectors waited in briefly.
Two-toned colbat eyes held Qrow's for a moment, and then Lucina stepped up to bat.
Without speaking, without issuing a word of warning to Lissa, the woman tried the door handle. Finding it did give, she turned a glance back to Qrow. "Five minutes," she told the Hunter. "Give me five minutes."
With those words, Lucina opened the door, and shut it firmly behind her.
For the first several moments, there's no sound. But, should anyone be listening at the keyhole, or at the cracks of the door, those two moments of silence fade.

Rizu Lissa Ylisse
Rizu Lissa Ylisse "H-hey! What do you think you're doing?" Anyone listening might hear. "Put my staff down!"
Anyone who knows Lissa, at this point, knows the Yang-like rage inspired by someone else messing with her staff. Anyone who knows her can also tell that, despite it all, such rage is still muted by shock.
But it's something other than blankness.
Anyone who's trying to listen - or even those in the immediate vicinity who aren't trying to, at this point - will hear a few distinct words being loudly exchanged back and forth. "Chrom", "Lucina", "Ylisse", "OH MY GOSH", "Falchion", and then before silence falls in the room again, they might even hear the quieter words..
"Grima took Robin," Lissa's voice, quiet. Afraid.

It's a few moments after that, that Lucina finally exits the room. "She's changing, and then she'll be out." The princess says, simply.

Ōku Nomoji
Ōku Nomoji The kids waited for that news, along with Qrow. The entire Team JNPR ran over to the door where Lucina was waiting, their eyes widened in slight horror.
Finally, working up the courage, Ren turned his magenta gaze towards the door, his tone as quiet as ever as he spoke. "Is she going to be alright, Lucina?"
The voice to everyone's concern danced upon their faces, as well as the fact that the question that was poised on everyone's tongues had been spoken, each face visibly relaxed a little. Leave it to Ren to be the one to be the voice of everything.
Pyrrha turned her attention to the side, emerald eyes starting to splash with tears. All of his was her fault; if she could have somehow saved Robin from that dragon as well, Lissa wouldn't be in such a precarious situation.. What a friend she was.

Lucina Yashi
Lucina Yashi "Lissa will be fine." Lucina replied, meeting the gazes of those who did look at her. Her voice was unconcerned, much unlike before. Only Qrow, experienced at reading body language as he, would be able to read any remaining concern in her posture.
Her gaze will linger on the man for a few long moments, before turning her gaze critically to the four team members responsible for her aunt's safety. They were all taking this hard as well; it was clear they felt guilt for Robin being captured right under their noses.
"How much has she told you about the one who took Robin?" She looks at each of them, measuring the looks upon their faces closely. Because what Lucina says next is very much defined by how much they know.
She still needs to talk to her aunt about just what the circumstances of Robin's capture were.. How Robin was taken, would define how Lucina's next encounter with her father's tactician would go.

Rizu Lissa Ylisse
Rizu Lissa Ylisse As Lucina was asking questions that Lissa finally opened the door, and stepped out into the hallway. Her friends were there, as well as Lucina and Qrow; and so Lissa did the most rational thing, and latched onto Nora first. Before the orange haired girl could tackle her, instead. Let's face it -- it's probably already happened a time or two, as it is.
"I'm sorry for making you guys worry," she said. Her typical cheer was still missing; but at least she was talking, and moving, now. A definite improvement over how she had been a mere hour ago. Closer to the Lissa they knew.

Ōku Nomoji
Ōku Nomoji [~Qrow Branwen~]
Qrow frowned as he looked at Lissa exiting from the room, as well as the slight tauntness and stress that seemed to be affecting Lucina's every move. He could tell that she was just as stressed and worried as the rest of them.. Regardless of that, she refused to show it, the same as the drunkard did.
Keeping his arms crossed, his attention focused, the man kicked off from the side of the wall he was standing, focusing on the door as soon as Lissa walked out. Orbs of brown peered into the gaze of the Princess' concern showing only for her eyes. The kids didn't need to know that the adults were stressing; that would just make it harder on them, so as soon as the gaze has been broken...
He will turn his attention back to the kids. He knew a bit more than they did about the entire situation; Lucina had told him a small bit on the way back from the outerlands of Beacon where he had first found her fighting off the horde of Grimm. Crossing his arms, he listened to the children as they reaccounted their stories.
[~Nora Valkyrie~]
Nora frowned for a second, not even really paying attention to anything in the area except for Lissa when she pops out of the room. Wrapping her arms around her in protection, the bubbly girl hugged the blonde as close as she could, smile softly flooding her features with relief.
"Well, hello, Lissa! It took you long enough to wake up! I guess having a nice rest is good every now and then, huh?"
Completely not turning her concern into a joke. Nora? No way.
[~Jaune Arc~]
Jaune frowned as he moved his attention back towards the other as she asked her questions. Lucina seemed to have everything under control; same with Qrow. The Leader of Team JNPR couldn't let himself break, could he?
"I'm not too sure about all the details," he explained quietly. "It was all a rush and a blur, and she..." Well, she stopped talking completely soon afterwards.
Reaching out, he placed a hand on Lissa shoulders, clearly glad that she was back into action. Despite her lack of cheer, she was still moving and getting back into action. At least that was better than what they had been dealing with for the past small while.
[~Pyrrha Nikos~]
The redhaired woman frowned, turning her attention to Ren. They were the two that had listened to Lissa cry, and Pyrrha had been there when Grima had taken Robin over. Slowly, the two will reaccount everything that they knew - though it wasn't much - and explain that Robin seemed to have been completely taken over.
"She didn't seem right. She wasn't really Robin after that... thing... got to her."

Rizu Lissa Ylisse
Rizu Lissa Ylisse Lissa hugged Nora back even tighter, and gave her friend the tiniest smile possible. She might be mostly back to normal, but a real smile is just…beyond Lissa’s capacity, right now. But, a smile’s still a smile. “Guess so, Nora.”
Jaune’s hand on her shoulder gets a blink of surprise from the blonde, and she looks over at him, giving him that same smile she gave Nora. But then what they’re talking about sinks in, and the smile fades away. Robin…
She was going to have to tell, wasn’t she? What Ren and Pyrrha hadn’t made it in time to see. Nora would be able to feel the little shudder that went through Lissa. The amnesiac didn’t want to have to recount yesterday’s events…but she didn’t have much other choice, really, did she?
Thanks to practice with Robin, and in part what she could only assume was instinct on her own, from her days back ‘home’, Lissa knew perhaps a little bit better than what Jaune could recall. But at least Pyrrha and Ren had been there – they knew more than Jaune. They’d made it to her sooner than any of the others.
“…Robin was lured away from tournament by something, or someone.” Lissa said quietly, looking to Lucina. “It hadn’t been Grima; she wouldn’t have gone after him alone.” Robin wasn’t careless enough to make such a mistake.
For some of JNPR, it might be the first time they’ve heard that name, isn’t it? Lissa and Robin hadn’t really spoken of him much in the open…though after the disaster at Mistral…the name might have been mentioned a couple of times around the others, at least.
“I saw her going, so I followed her. I was a way behind, so I don’t know how it started, or if anything was even said, but..” Lissa fell silent again, looking down at the ground. If she’d been faster, maybe she’d have been able to get Robin out of there before…
“He lashed out at her with dark magic…and you know Robin, she’s good at tactics. But even she was taken by surprise. I think one of the bolts must have hit her, or a curse or something, but she dropped all of a sudden. She started…screaming.”
And then Ren and Pyrrha had shown up, and stopped her from going after her friend, from trying to save her friend. Lissa listened in silence as the two explained what they’d seen from their end, and shuddered a little. It all still rung so clearly in her own mind. By the time Robin had been standing up again, eerily silent…her eyes had been glowing with an evil, purple light. And it wasn’t only her eyes...

Lucina Yashi
Lucina Yashi Lucina listened to everything the group had to say, her face remaining carefully expressionless. Qrow would be able to notice the tension that was building in her form, the way her fingers tightened.
She hid all of that from the teenagers as best she could.
She would have to tell them, at least part of the reality of the situation, though. The rest could wait for Qrow's ears only.
"If Robin didn't seem like Robin after Grima got to her... Then there's a chance Robin doesn't...exist, anymore." Lucina said bluntly, finally. She won't say how high a chance, because she knows the kids need to feel a form of hope, at least, but...
Lucina glances back at Qrow. The chance is high. Higher than she'd like.

Ōku Nomoji
Ōku Nomoji [~Nora Valkyrie~]
Nora frowned in concern when she felt the shudder that seemed to reverbrate from her friend. Even Jaune's eyes turned wide when he noticed the absolute change that over took her. Turning her attention back to the story that was being told, green eyes slowly begin to narrow as the ginger clenches her fists even more visibly than anything.
"Ohhh. I swear, whenever we find him, Lissa, we're gonna break his legs!" she shouts out, pointing a finger towards the skies as her hyperactivity attempts to create a smile across Lissa's figures.
"We'll get her back, no worries! If nothing else, I'll just have to hit her with Magnhild until she comes back to her senses!"
It was when Lucina started being a downer, however, that she turns around, poking a finger towards her. "And don't you dare say something like that again! There is no way that something like that would happen! Robin is our friend! Of course she is still in there!"
[~Ren~]
The martial artist frowned, shaking his head slightly. Nora was always the more optimistic one of his group, but she hadn't seen what he and Pyrrha had seen; she couldn't tell that absolute difference that was in her demeanor. She was no longer the book worm that they had once known; she had become something else entirely, something that could possibly be described as a monster.
Her entire aura had turned purple, but it wasn't calming like most of the others with those colors. It was frightening, something that shook him to his core to feel...
And it was that which made him rush forward to grab Lissa. He knew she would go after her; he knew she would try to save her... but even Ren wasn't certain if there was any saving Robin.. If Robin had went even slightly closer towards the three of them, they could easily have been dead.
[~Pyrrha~]
"I heard everything that had happened," Pyrrha stated, "although I was not certain of what exactly was occurring. At least now, I have a better insight as to what was happening." Her own emerald eyes appeared saddened as she glanced off towards the side, one arm reaching across her chest to clutch at the top of the other.
"It was not a good sight that we noticed, but I cannot believe that Robin is completely gone. There must be something we can do to save her, correct?"
They were friends, after all, and Pyrrha wasn't going to run out on her, no matter how difficult the situation.

Rizu Lissa Ylisse
Rizu Lissa Ylisse Lissa appreciated Nora's efforts to get her to smile, but the normally energetic young woman just didn't have the energy in her for such an endeavor. The thoughts of Robin in the Fell dragon's clutches... It still just made her want to turn and run, and never stop. The fear that the very thought sent coursing through her body was very, very real.
But what Lucina has to say is information that Lissa doesn't appreciate...appreciate, but knows that it's likely the young woman might have more insight into the whole matter than any of them do.
"...Lucina would know better than anyone, if there's a way to save Robin or not." Lissa said, her voice quiet, after her friends had finished speaking. "She came from the future of our world, to try and save it."
Perhaps not stuff she's supposed to be talking about -- especially when she doesn't even exactly remember it...but... She knows what she's been told. What Robin had told her, and what Lucina herself had told her.
"But maybe there's something Lucina doesn't know. There has to be a way to get her back!" Aha, so Lissa's optimism does still exist!
But then Qrow's speaking, and Lissa turns a confused expression to her friends. "Mistral? Remind me what that is?" She never //had// memorized all of the places in Remnant, after all...

Lucina Yashi
Lucina Yashi Lucina's eyes had turned to Qrow, though she was watching the other five out of the corner of her eyes. Their reactions were all perfectly normal...and reactions she wished they didn't have cause to have.
But it wasn't until Lissa spoke again, that Lucina looked fully back at them. "...Must you tell //everyone// I'm from the future?" She scolded lightly.
Lissa stuck her tongue out at her, causing Lucina to plant her face into her palm, for a brief moment.
"If there is a chance of Robin returning to us," Lucina said, finally. "It is small." The princess turned her eyes back to Qrow. They needed to talk in private, the sooner the better.
"He has been other places in your world? Tell me more." It wasn't so much a request as a demand...or a plea, perhaps. The more information they could give her, the more relevant information she could give them.
