"Joestar-san, this place stinks!" Polnareff complained, wiping his forehead with a towel that he had snagged from the hotel room. What exactly they were doing here in this part of the country, Pol didn't even want to know. There had been far too many stops, far too many attacks, in such a short amount of time, and it was only growing closer and closer to the time yet another enemy Stand user would be coming into play.
It didn't help that they had came into places that were against proper bathrooms, and it seemed proper hygiene, to go along with it. Toilets that had hoses to wash oneself down with, toilets where pigs from the sties below had a chance to come out and poke their heads through the actual pipelines... It was far too much for a man of such high standards to go through!
Polnareff had to shower once daily, if not twice in these territories, and on top of that, couldn't even keep the stench of the locals out of his nostrils. It was enough to drive a man crazy...
The sun was hot here in the Middle Eastern countries. Already, the group that had joined together to save Holly Joestar from death had already gone through so much; and Polnareff had seen enough trouble to last him the rest of his life time!
Sighing, the Frenchman turned his attention back to his comrades. Jotaro, always serious, stoic and ready to battle. Joseph, millionaire and willing to learn new things. Kakyoin, source of information, quiet, battle ready.. There was one person missing from their merry crew, however, and that was someone that had died long before they had arrived to this destination.
Someone that had died due to the heatedness of Polnareff himself. He would never be able to forgive himself, and carrying Avdol's death upon his heart was something he would do in silence.
Worry not, Polnareff, they had said. It would be perfectly F I N E, they said. Lies. All of them. If there was one thing that had gone wrong since he had left France, it was everything. The only positive things that had seemed to have occurred was the fact that they had finally killed Centerfold, the bastard that had ended up destroying his precious sister and taking her soul somewhere that Polnareff could not protect her..
Then again, he couldn't really protect her in this world either... could he?
Deep sigh escapes him as he ends up taking a wrong path away from his teammates, away from his friends. Great, something else to be thankful for, right?
Despite his search for anything that could be deemed even slightly a hint towards where his friends had disappeared too, he noticed with a slight hitch of his breath that... he wasn't exactly where he was supposed to be. The ground was no longer covered in nothing but sand; it was now asphalt and other types of materials that covered the ground at his feet, buildings that appeared more organized and wholesome than the huts that they had been walking through.
"Ah, great. Now where am I?" he growled out, his teeth grinding in annoyance. Him running off was exactly what had gotten Avdol killed. Was this going to be his fate as well?
He may as well find someone in this crazy place that he could speak with, however.. If he didn't... he might never be able to find his way home.
Finally, he spots a lone woman walking towards him, a weight upon her that seemed to not be quiet as balanced as it seemed. Racing towards her, the man reached out, helping straighten her as he gathered the materials she almost dropped.
"Mademoiselle! You should not be carrying all of this alone! Please, allow me to assist you with these." The man bowed towards her, reaching out to gather some of the materials she seemed to be carrying.
She was young, that much was certain, but she was beautiful - and definitely endowed in wondrous ways. Ohho. Maybe today wouldn't be such a bad day.

手塚 アイナ
手塚 アイナ It was a normal day in Beacon academy, the students were all in their classrooms listening to yet another loooong lecture that surely was interesting for a certain silverette of the Schnee company, but not for the others. Most of the students were either falling into a forced slumber to save themselves from the utter boredom that was striking them mercilessly or simply spacing out trying to find a suitable way to entertain themselves without being busted.
A certain yellow beauty wasn't in the mood to pull off jokes to make her dear friend Blake laugh a bit during the deadly boring class and of course the fanus noticed that. Yang Xiao Long was staring in the void, her eyes were hazed and lifeless. Now what could have happened to her?
That was actually something she didn't like to talk about, after all it was hard knowing her mother was somewhere in this big world but never even cared to meet her daughter in her whole life. It was hurtful, it made her feel different from others, let us say that it was somehow her weakness yet she hid all those painful feelings behind a cheerful and carefree attitude.
Yang was like the sun in the eyes of those who knew her, no one could ever fathom how much darkness was hidden in her heart. Anyway time seemed to flow very slowly this day, class seemed to last forever. A worried ravanette pulled the blonde's sleeve to catch her attention, that snapped Yang from her daze actually interrupting her trail of thoughts.
''Yang, what's going on? You're not yourself today.'' Whispered the fanus showing a concerned expression. The yellow beauty sighed softly and after smiling slightly she shrugged trying to make her understand that it was nothing. Suddenly an eraser hit her forehead at high speed, the professor didn't really fancy those who didn't pay attention to his lecture.
''Yang Xiao Long... detention!'' He sentenced as the girl remained puzzled while she was attempting to rub the red mark left by the flying object. Everyone in the whole class was agape, she did nothing after all. Actually the teacher knew Yang needed some fresh air so a detention was way better than staying in a classroom listening to a long lesson.
Now that was great, just great. She had been punished for less than she usually did during class. Well being on patrol wasn't that bad now, was it? She could have gone off to find valuable informations about Raven, her mother.
Not much time had passed since the woman in red saved her from Neo Politan and now Yang couldn't help but wonder why she bothered to do so. She needed to ask her personally as well as asking her many other questions. Anyway she opted for looking for informations in one of those fancy pubs where criminals usually gathered to have a nice time.
Well last time she did it ended up pretty badly since she had to fight and of course it happened again. It was a piece of cake as usual but sadly no one had the info she needed, but one of those criminals was a bounty so she decided to carry him so that at least she could deliver him to the authorities.
What she didn't expect was to meet a strange looking guy with a bizarre hairstyle. He was actually pretty polite to her carrying some bags of snacks she intended to bring in her room for the others, luckily enough he didn't notice the man she had been carrying like a sack of potatoes behind her back.
''aww how nice of you~ say dude, you don't seem from around here , how can I call you? The name's Yang, nice to meet you~'' she spoke with her usual carefree tone. She just hoped he didn't freak out, but she knew she'd play it smoothly as usual.
