Polyxena Einar to Ōku Nomoji

{ Raven to Jotaro }
The last few weeks had been full of surprises, even for the unshakable Raven Branwen, the woman who was feared by many even though the majority of them didn't even know her name. She had long ago infiltrated the White Fang in order to gain the trust of the leaders as they came and went. There was a deeper mission she was on, one that required her to take part in these activities.
No one but herself and Ozpin knew of this particular mission.
However, even in that mission, there were circumstances that meant she could not stand idly by as people she cared about were hurt and mistreated. Even though Raven might hide behind a mask all of the time now, she still cared deeply about her family. She kept a close eye on Taiyang and Yang; and a slightly less close eye on her brother Qrow, his wife Summer, and their children. There was much to be proud of with those people she loved dearly.
But at the same time, as of late, there were several circumstances arising that called into question everything that Raven stood for.
She had been getting so close to finding out the realities of who was behind all of these atrocities, and what they were truly planning to do with the power of the Maidens!
And yet, the situation was now dire.
Summer had been kidnapped, as had her and Qrow's sons Tanager and Yutaki...and something had been done to Summer. Raven couldn't find her sister-in-law and former teammate. Something had also been done to Yutaki; but Raven couldn't get to the boys, not yet.
If she bought herself just a little bit more time... She could get the boys out. Just a little more time.
Everything had begun to go wrong when the creature - she refused to call him a man, for he was so obviously not truly a man - named DIO had appeared. He had met immediately with the leaders behind everything; and that was when things had begun to move differently, and more quickly, than expected.
Raven was not foolish enough to believe that the creature was responsible for her sister-in-law and nephews' kidnappings; no, that had all been part of Cinder's boss's plan. She knew it all too well...but she had been unable to find the location they were held at. If she could have, she'd have broken cover to return them to her brother immediately.
But that hadn't been possible.
However, something else had become a possibility for her. DIO had been heard speaking of a 'Josomething Joestar', and apparently this person was a threat to his well-being... If she brought this 'Joestar' to their world, perhaps he could be the turning point for solving this crisis. Perhaps there was something he could do for Summer; something he could do for Yutaki.
Raven had spent most of the day focusing, trying her hardest to hone in on the signature of the man who had the potential to overthrow everything DIO stood for; everything DIO was doing to her world. It was now or never.
The black haired woman opened her crimson eyes, and gestured. A red and black portal opened before her, swirling and churning. It had been a long time since one of her portals had seemed so unstable.
But, if rumor had it right...then this was her first portal to another world.
Raven took a deep breath, squared her shoulders, and rested her hand upon her sword's hilt. This was the only way to try and help that would have immediate effect. She had to do this.
Raven Branwen stepped through the portal...and stepped out into a brand new world.
----
This world was not so unlike the world she knew; though there were several differences she noticed immediately. If her aim had been true, she should be near the man named 'Josomething Joestar'. All that was left to do was find him.
And convince him to help her world.
Though, if he stood against DIO...surely it wouldn't be too difficult to convince him to come with her.
There was fighting up ahead...it was as good a place as any.
Raven hadn't bothered to wear her mask, so her eyes blazed crimson in the dusk of this world.
"Which one of you is Joestar?" She demanded, eyes narrowing on the people who were fighting.
As she waited for an answer, Raven drew her sword, hefting it over her shoulder casually as she waited for an answer. As it fully withdrew from it's sheath, it expanded...
Just in case anyone has any funny ideas.

Ōku Nomoji
Ōku Nomoji [~Kujo Jotaro~]
Japan, 1987! A world full of technology and skyscrapers, a world full of change and innovation! The country has long since decided to pave its own way through life, becoming a formidable opponent in several area, including the arts and styles of various forms!
Meet Kujo Jotaro; high school delinquent. Well, that was what he liked being known as up to a point. People knew not to mess with this man, a man of many talents and with a penchant for having a temper. Whatever these poor souls did today was not seeming to bode well for them. The last ones that had caused the boy to become this angry had landed in the hospital, no questions asked, no hesitation given..
Tall and muscular, Jotaro held one of the boys by the scruff of his neck, cold, turquoise orbs glaring down at them. He says not a word, simply clenching his fist... and the man freaks out completely.
It is only when the woman speaks that he turns around at all, noticing the blade that she held in her hands. He sighs, glancing down at the bloodied mess he had made, no sign of any kind of remorse crossing their features. They shouldn't have made him angry; really the only thing he would have to say for himself.
"Yare yare," he muttered, touching the rim of his cap and pulling it down a bit further over his features. This was starting to turn into more of a hassle than it was worth, dealing with these common bullies. He turned around, gathering the woman's purse and her special item that she had been carrying around with her, putting it in her hands.
Once she had the items secured, the woman left, thankful cries escaping from her mouth. It was then that Jotaro Kujo seemed to be a lot different than he truly was, a kind soul hidden behind a mask of coldness.
Flashing blue crosses over and meets eyes of red again, a menacing air floating between them. He could tell that this moment was going to change his life... and it was going to change it forever.
"I am not a Joestar," he states, standing properly, one hand in his pocket, the other pointing towards her, "however, I am related to him." Technically, he was a Joestar, but all the same, he wanted to play this safe. Joseph Joestar - his grandfather - was still in America as far as he was aware, and Jotaro wanted nothing to do with his real estate business whatsoever.
Glaring eyes turn gaze back over towards the street. "And who would you be?"

Polyxena Einar
Polyxena Einar Raven watched, her face impassive as the boy did his kind deeds, and scared the villains off. So, he was a do-gooder in this world? Perhaps it would be easier to convince him to come along than she thought, then.
But Raven wasn’t about to just bring the young man with her, no questions asked. No; there were many questions resting on the tip of the woman’s tongue. All of them rested on the boy’s answer to her question… Though truly – why would a monster like DIO be scared of a boy like this? Yes; scared was what she was going to call it…because if he didn’t want to be found by ‘Joestar’, then that smacked of cowardice.
“If you are not Joestar, then I am wasting my time.” Raven replied evenly, her crimson eyes narrowing. “What I have come here to test Joestar for, and to speak with him about, is for his ears only, as it pertains to an enemy of his.”
A mocking smirk crossed Raven’s lips. “Thereby, not the concern of a person merely ‘related’ to him.” Damn it, if this boy wasn’t who she needed, then…her portal had missed the mark. But by how much? She would have to try again…
The gesture was subtle, but her sword lifted off of her shoulder with minimal effort, blade beginning to collapse in on itself again before it had even made it to the sheath. A blade unlike any most people had seen before. Perhaps all people, in this world; there was no way for Raven to know, either way. Her blade was a marvel in her world; but she had spent years perfecting it.
Raven turned her back on the boy, and began walking away. “I’ll not give you my name, since you’re not Joestar,” she said over her shoulder. “Forget about my arrival. It would only bring you trouble.”

Ōku Nomoji
Ōku Nomoji [~Kujo Jotaro~]
The teenager kept his harsh, turquoise gaze upon her, eyes narrowing even more as she continued to speak. He was, currently, a typical teenager - well, as typical as a member of the Joestar Family could be. His mother, Holly, was a gentle soul, never one for causing trouble, and his father... well, safe to say they barely heard from him, as he was a traveling musician that was attempting to do his best to make it big into the real world.
He was more than willing to turn his back on her, to continue going along his way without a second's hesitation. If she was searching for his grandfather and refused to say anything to him whatsover about what it might be about, so be it. The woman could go to America and talk to him for all he cared. It was probably something business related, anyway.
But it was her words, basically calling Jotaro useless, was what irked him. And that was what caused him to turn back around and glare at her completely. 'If you are not Joestar, then I am wasting my time.' The nerve of a woman, to not even know of the Joestar name and come causing trouble around on /his/ turf!
"An enemy?" he asks, his tone lowering. He was certain that the old man had plenty of enemies; after all, being as rich and famous as he was, anyone would.. but at the same time, something inside of Jotaro was screaming that this was a horrible issue.
Something that was related to more than just money.
He clasped his hand on the back of his neck, closing his eyes for a brief moment in a blink, opening them again while he watched her sword dance in front of him. Definitely correct.. she was different than anyone else he had ever came across, and this was not going to be something he was going to allow to slide.
"If you are so willing to test my grandfather... maybe you would like to have a confrontation with me first," he stated, finger pointing in her direction again. "I am not one to be trifled with."
He clenched his fist as she began walking away from him, even after his challenge had been posed. "Hold on!"
Grasping a hand onto her shoulder, he held on for all he was worth. He needed answers, and he wasn't going to remove his grasp until he retrieved them.

Polyxena Einar
Polyxena Einar “I am only your relative’s enemy if he makes me into one.” The woman said, her razor-sharp hearing having picked up on that comment. “But as I’m convinced we share a common foe…” The enemy of my enemy is my friend? Apparently she’s going by that philosophy.
Raven slid her sword into its sheath and began her walk away from the young man. There was too much at stake for her to be wasting her time standing here, talking to someone who wasn’t even the person she was seeking! She needed to be going after her nephews, needed to be tracking down her missing best friend.
The woman who was no Huntress had no time to be wasting. And by finding the wrong person, she had wasted time as it was.
But then the young man is challenging her to a fight, and Raven paused. She turned slightly, a smile dancing on her lips. “You wish to fight me?” The woman shook her head sharply, dismissively. “Don’t be ridiculous. A boy like you? Fight /me/?”
Such a proposition was a suicide mission, on the boy’s part. Raven Branwen took no prisoners. Yet.
She could hear him following her, but didn’t care. Raven had not the time to waste exchanging batter any longer with the young man who was not ‘Joestar’. She had a family who needed her; needed her more than even some of them knew. The smiling swordswoman wondered for a moment if Qrow would think she’d had a hand in such an atrocity. But no; surely her brother knew her well enough.
Raven paused past the alleyway branch-off, focusing her attention again. She needed to help the boys. Needed to find Summer. Had to find the right Joestar. There was so much she had yet to do…
The woman closed her eyes, focusing her abilities again, and as the young man’s hand closed upon her shoulder, a swirling portal of black and red opened before her. Raven narrowed her eyes at the boy. “Let go.”
Whether or not he obeyed the order…she was going through that portal. There was no time left to contemplate. Action needed to be taken.
And if it meant bringing the boy with her, well…she’d just have to worry about returning him at a later time.

Ōku Nomoji
Ōku Nomoji Jotaro refused to let go. There were far too many answers that needed to be told, far too many questions that had popped themselves into his head. He was worried, he was concerned, and although his personality would ever show it, he was someone that cared too much about everyone else.
Although this was definitely going into a place that was supernatural, completely different and off the charts from what he usually did, he freezes as they land. It is only when they skip through the portal that he relinquishes his hold on the woman's arm, placing one in his pocket, the other dancing across the rim of his hat as he pulls it down further.
Seeming completely unruffled, his eyes not even showing a slight disturbance, the teenager shook his head.
"..Yare Yare Daze," he stated, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a cigarette, lighting it quietly. This was not something that he had been expecting to happen, but if one could not adapt, one could not survive, and they needed to be able to live or else things would turn negative really quickly.
A cave that he had never seen before loomed before him. He turns his attention to the landscape outside the mouth of the cavern, stepping out of the area to take a glance outside.
Woods. Trees stretched as far as the eye could see, a different appearance of vibrant colors seemed to surround them all. In the distance, he frowns, his sharp eyes capturing the sight of a black figure roaming, white mask remaining stationary upon its face.
He turned his gaze back to her, a frown crossing his features. "Where are we?" They definitely weren't in Tokyo anymore, that much was for certain. Seemed he wouldn't even be able to call out to school for the next while - not that it mattered considering he skipped those annoying classes as often as he could anyway.
Unless his mom forced him to join in, at least. Now that did concern him. He pulled out his cell phone, trying to figure out what was going on. Checking the bars at the top, he frowned even more, recognizing the familiar sign of having no signal whatsoever.
Definitely nowhere in Tokyo.

Polyxena Einar
Polyxena Einar Raven shook her shoulder free of the boy once they’d stepped out of the portal, and directed a disapproving scowl in his direction. “I’m not going to open a new one just to send you home, boy,” she warned. If he’d listened, he wouldn’t have had to get stuck here in Remnant for the next day or two. Perhaps longer, depending on how exhausting the next portal was for her. Repeated use of her portal ability could be exhausting – more so when portaling between worlds? Dimensions? Whatever the case was.
Before moving away from the boy, Raven plucked the cigarette out of his mouth, and crushed it beneath her heel. “No smoking.” Just because he was a guest here didn’t mean she was going to tolerate ill behavior!
The cigarette effectively put out, Raven continued on into the cave she had made her base, giving a little generator a kick as she passed it. The thing sputtered to life, and dim lighting came on, giving dimension to the fifty-foot cave the woman used. On the north wall, screens were mounted, each screen flickering between locations that seemed reasonably public – for the most part. All of them seemed to be in different cities, and flickered between different locations in each city. To the south, where the entrance to the cave was located, sat the generator to the left of the entrance, and table with an odd looking white and red mask. The east side of the cave encompassed a table with a single chair, and a fire pit over which hung a pot on a precarious tripod. The chair was on the south side of the table to allow for viewing the screens on the north wall. The west wall encompassed a sparring dummy, a target painted on the wall, and a folding screen behind which was a trunk with clothing and first aid supplies and a bed. In the immediate center of the cave was a raised circular platform, just wide enough for an adult male to sit on cross-legged. A variety of crates and chests sat around here and there, likely where the woman stored various other supplies.
Raven beelined for the north wall, crossing her arms as she came to a halt before the screens. She said nothing to the young man for some time, both not answering his question and not addressing any of the obvious questions he would have. Once she’d had a moment to survey each screen’s rotating images, did she turn back to the teenager.
“You are in Remnant,” she replied, a hand resting on the opposite hip of her sword’s hilt. “It is a world apart from yours; one you have never seen, and once you return to your world, you should hope never to see it again.”
“You should have released my shoulder when I told you to. It is unlikely your technology will appropriately function here.” The woman pursed her lips, and shook her head. Hopefully the real Joestar wouldn’t hold this accidental abduction against her.
“Who I am is unimportant. For the short time you are here, you may call me Dark.” Yes; Raven wasn’t even going to give this man her name. “Feel free to rest if you need to do so. Or eat; there should still be some smoked meat over there.” She jerked her chin in the direction of the table.
“I will be meditating. Do not disturb me.” Without further words, the woman walked to the platform in the middle of the cave, and situated herself cross-legged upon it. Before she closed her eyes, she directed a scowl at the teenager. “If you poke through my clothing, it will be the last thing you ever do.”
Nothing like threats to start off a partnership, eh?

Ōku Nomoji
Ōku Nomoji The teenager frowned as he gazed around, turquoise orbs finally resting themselves back on the ravenette that had brought him into this new, strange world. How any of this even happened was beyond him. After all, today was supposed to be one of the few days he actually bothered putting up with idiots long enough to go to school. He had even put up with the women that flocked around him for a small amount of time - long enough to call them annoying and to scram, in any case.
Regardless, he shook his head slightly to her response, signature pose returning to his features as he points his finger at her again, his height giving him the ability to look down upon her. Over 190 centimeters wasn't something to scoff at in any case.
"I am not concerned about returning home," he states, nothing but seriousness etched across his features. He refused to let someone like this talk down to him; he didn't even allow his grandfather to do that, let alone someone he didn't even know. There was some reason he came here, or else, his body wouldn't have allowed him to grab out and reach her. He didn't like being near people to begin with - unless he was bloodying them up for causing him issue, regardless of what it was. All the same.. he was here and there was honestly nothing that he could do about it.
A scowl crossed features of chiseled ice when she removed the cigarette from his mouth. If she was so keen on him not smoking around here, then he would simply go out and smoke when she wasn't around. It wasn't as though she were his keeper or anything of that nature, or were her mother-senses going to start going on full blare around the teenager?
Ducking his head back into the cave from where he had been keeping a look around the outside, he entered within, viewing the neat little place she had created for herself. At least it seemed operational; that much was for certain. Generators with energy that allowed her to use the security cameras that were linked to possibly the main control center were apparent. He looked at the mask, a slight frown crossing his features. It seemed forboding for some reason. Not necessariliy frightening, but definitely something he wouldn't want to view on a daily basis.
Finally retrieving a knowledgable map of the area - and a possible understanding of what was necessary and needed in this part of the universe - he stopped moving, sitting down on the ground for just a brief moment. He was nothing if not patient; he could tell that she was a busy woman and wasn't blatantly ignoring her. If there was anything else, then he would have gotten a bit more on the upset side. As it was now... not so much.
Jotaro stated not a word as he listened to explanation full. So he truly was in a different realm, the same as he had believed himself to be. That was something that was still rubbing him wrong; the only way that this would have occurred would have been through magic, but in all honesty, there was no such thing... was there?
Turning his attention away from her with the final words that she had spoken, the teenager watched as she moved to go and sit in the meditation center of the cave. At least there were some things that she managed to do properly. He cracked his neck as he gave her the briefest of nods in thanks to the offer of food; then again, considering he had just eaten before he started beating up those bullies from earlier, he was perfectly fine.
Like he would ever choose to go through her clothing anyone. Old woman.
Closing turquoise pools, he rested against the side of the cave, mind wandering to all of the events of the day. Well, there was no way this was going to get any weirder, was it?

Polyxena Einar
Polyxena Einar Raven had never been someone to let another person’s height or abilities to intimidate her – perhaps that was part of why she was known as the smiling swordswoman, the swordmistress who killed Grimm and enemy alike with a smile writ upon her lips. Not that the boy would know it. All he needed to know was not to cross her; she was a dangerous sort all her own, and if he couldn’t tell that…well. Then he was a fool.
“Good,” the woman said in reply to his lack of concern of returning to his home world. “You can make your way back to…wherever it is you were when I open my next portal, to the Joestar I’m looking for.”
She’s completely unaware of his contact issues; but Raven doesn’t touch people lightly, either. The swordswoman doesn’t much like his attitude, but well. She’s willing to cut him some slack after having been dragged out of his own world.
But that didn’t mean she was going to let him smoke in her home.
It’s only a couple of minutes that it begins, a low, whining noise from over near the monitors. As seconds pass the volume of the sound increases – a siren, clearly, the louder it gets. Raven’s on her feet after the sound continues for a minute, and back at the screens. She types on a little keyboard, and all of the screens convert to the same city, the same location. Dozens upon dozens of creatures of various shape have invaded. They are of different shapes, but all are black, with white bone-like substance over their bodies. People are running screaming…and there’s a group of four girls standing against the tide of the creatures.
Raven stares at the image before them, before swearing.
She says nothing to the “not Joestar” boy; instead going to the entrance of the cave, and grabbing her mask. As she gestures, another portal of black and red opens before her. “Do not follow me.” She tells Jotaro, sliding the mask down over her face.
It’s time to rescue her nephews – and then to take out some Grimm, in the process.

Ōku Nomoji
Ōku Nomoji The woman had spunk; that much he would give her at least. She didn't seem to be frightened by much of anything, not even the teenager that was as brash and violent as someone as Jotaro was. Though a smile wasn't playing across his lips, a begrudging sense of respect for the woman appeared within his very heart. This was the type of warrior he could get used too, someone who seemed to be able to understand him, at least a little. She wasn't gentle, like his mother, fawning like the school girls, annoying like everyone else. At least Raven had a brain; that made her far more intriguing and more interesting than anyone else that he had really came to know throughout his short lifespan thus far. Then again, he had only changed into this delinquent a year or so ago. Regardless, he knew what irked him and what didn't. While her haughty attitude was definitely irritating... it was something commendable as well.
He crossed his arms as he ignored the other as she continued speaking. At least that much was something he would be able to do without too much of a fuss. Jotaro definitely did get himself into a mess this time; then again, when life gave one lemons... squeeze the juice out into the eyes. After all.. fair is fair, right?
"Yare, yare," he muttered quietly, keeping his senses open around him. Any movement that was made by the woman would be detected and noted by the watchful teen; any sounds, he would attempt to hear.
Though, there was a sound that appeared out of nowhere, a sound that he wasn't fond of. It seemed as though it was an alarm of some kind, a minute, silent one, but an alarm all the same. Hearing Raven stand and move over to where the computers were causes eyes of blue to open once more, chiseled features glaring at the screens.
The sight that reached him was appalling, and it caused his fists to bunch up even more so.
He waits for a few more moments. If she was a warrior of this world, he wasn't too stressed about her being able to take care of these monsters on her own, but... There were new figures appearing, humans it seemed... and they were all coming through and hiding in various points throughout the city.
"Yare, yare..." Well then.. it seemed that more danger was abound, and while it wasn't his concern, he wasn't going to sit by and just let them walk straight into a trap.
Standing, he turned his attention towards the address and the surroundings once again, rushing towards where Raven had disappeared from. If he couldn't capture her and get portaled again -- he would have to find a better approach. Perhaps one of those bear like creatures that were running around towards the scene.

Polyxena Einar
Polyxena Einar Jotaro won’t be waiting long – the portal opens again after a few long seconds, and a pair of boys run through. One’s clearly on the young age of teenager years; the other is much younger. The older has silver eyes, the younger has brown They’re both a little rough around the edges – they've clearly been through a rough time. The older boy stops the second he sees Jotaro, he halts, and backs up again, holding onto the younger boy’s arm.
He backs into Raven, who stops him with a firm hand on his shoulder. “Easy.” She told him, as the portal behind her swirled shut, the scent of blood disappearing with it. Once Raven’s sure the younger boys aren’t about to bolt immediately, she turns around again, and opens another portal.
She slides her mask to the top of her head, and kneels to the boys’ level. “Your father is somewhere on the other side of this portal. I’ll keep the Grimm from getting to you, but you need to find him right away. Understand?” Jotaro might have thought Raven didn’t have a motherly side, but…well. Here it is! Of a sort. Maybe more of an…auntie to the rescue? Side.
The older boy nods, pulling the younger closer, and glances at the older boy behind them. He doesn’t say a word; but once the woman’s through the portal, he pulls his younger brother through with him.
The portal doesn’t close immediately, and there’s the unmistakable sound of fighting coming through from beyond it. And people screaming. Lots of people screaming.

Ōku Nomoji
Ōku Nomoji Jotaro notices the boys, eyes not even showing any sort of emotion. Though, the shaking in his body from anger was clear. Whoever had done this to those boys were going to pay, and they were going to pay dearly. Turning on his heel away from the boy, away from the scene that was taking place before him, he headed towards the open portal that was leading to the fight.
He was angry. No, he was more than that. He was livid. Jotaro cared far too much for his own good, whether or not he showed it, and his heart was always in the right place.. And those people on the opposite side had stolen these children, and inevitably, were harming others as well.
Not being the type to sit back, he continued to blatantly ignore the rest that was around him. He saw the care the woman gave those boys; good. Then Raven could take care of them and protect them for all she was worth. The delinquent didn't have time for it. He wasn't a part of this world, he had no cause to get into their trifles...
But no one used women and children for whatever reason and got away with it. That was weak. Pathetic. And if anything made him more than angry, it was the fact that someone was that disrespectful to kids that should be protected more than harmed.
Racing through the portal, making up his mind, he slams into the fray. Bodies were spread wide around the area, injured called from all around. Fists were shaking, especially when he noticed one girl in a red hood being surrounded by a group of what seemed to be monsters and those fools in the masks.
He couldn't help against the giants - her scythe seemed to be able to cut them down easily enough - but her hesitation to cause any sort of violence towards the humans made it harder on her to battle.
"ORA!" he shouted as he jumped into the fray, punching the masked figures without any hesitation. As soon as he downs the first one, he is whirling around on his heel, finger pointing at the rest, a menacing aura surrounding him.
"Scum. You made one mistake.. and that was to piss me off."

Polyxena Einar
Polyxena Einar { Tanager }
The boys took off, dodging Grimm left and right, the older one really more just dragging the younger along with him. He paused only once, near a fallen White Fang man, to liberate the man’s sword from him. It wasn’t the weapon he preferred – but any weapon was better than no weapon! Tanager gave his little brother a tired little smile. He wasn’t ready to actually fight Grimm and bad guys – and he’d missed /so/ much combat school now – but he could at least hold them off, hopefully.
“DAD!” He shouted, looking around, keeping his little brother close. The lady who’d cut down the guards had said Dad would be close…so he had to be, right?
And if not – well, Ruby was right over there, and if Ruby was there…Yang probably wasn’t too far away. Dad could come to them, instead of the other way around. Made more sense to stay in one place; or at least, that was what Mom had always said.
Tanager swallowed, and shook his head a little. There wasn’t time to think about Mom. He had to stay focused.
Silver eyes looked down at brown, and Tanager tried a more convincing smile for his brother. “Let’s go see Yang and Ruby, alright?” Without waiting for a reply from his younger brother, he began pulling him off in that direction. “RUBY! YANG!”
{ Blake }
Blake shot down a Grimm, converting Gambol Shroud back into its chain-scythe form, pausing briefly when she heard voices calling for two of her teammates. “Yang! Look!” She shouted to the blonde, who was still a ways off. It would take Blake time to get to them – but perhaps Yang could make it to them sooner.
Ruby was surrounded – and damn it, their fearless leader was hesitating taking down the White Fang members. Blake started toward her…and then stopped, seeing an unfamiliar face taking out the White Fang members. He seemed to be helping…so Blake turned her attention back toward getting to the boys. There were a lot of Grimm in the way…
{ Raven }
The members of the White Fang in the immediate vicinity fled from Raven when she stepped out of the portal. The woman had a reputation – and while they were fighting for a cause they believed in, none of them believed themselves suicidal enough to go up against this particular woman.
Raven smirked under her mask, and turned her attention back to her nephews. Tanager had armed himself; resourceful boy. Still…he’d never actually fought a Grimm before – she wasn’t going to willingly let this day be his first. Qrow would have a few words for her, if that were the case!
She intervened, just as a Grimm drew close to her nephews, cutting the monster down with ease.
“Damn it, you dusty old Qrow, where are you?” She muttered, taking in the sights. She’d aimed to be as close as possible to her brother…
{ Ruby }
Logically, Ruby knew there would be days she would have to fight other people. Logically, she knew those days would come. She hadn’t known they’d come so soon.
Crescent Rose took down any Grimm who drew near…but Ruby couldn’t bear to use her scythe on them. “Don’t you see this is wrong?!” She asked the members of the White Fang. “What good will this possibly do?”
And then came Jotaro, who took one of them out with ease. Ruby paused, blinking. “Thank you?” She called after him. If he could handle the people…
And then a familiar voice registers in her ears. “TANAGER!?” She shrieked, spinning around. Where—there!
Ruby didn’t even think twice. She used her semblance, flashing over to her two brothers almost instantly. The change in her posture was instantaneous. “Just stay right there, okay?” She couldn’t let them see her cry in relief—but maybe she could cut down the people who had taken them from her and her father.
But—where was Mom?
That question would have to wait… Here came more Grimm!

Ōku Nomoji
Ōku Nomoji [~Yuutaki~]
This was starting to become too much. He was seven, just a small child, and all of this stress was slowly starting to break him down into tears. Maybe his big brother was able to manage to fight, silver eyes looking around strong, but this innocent, gentle soul would never be able to swing around a sword, let alone manage to battle himself away from those giant monsters that he had only heard about in fairytales...
Grimm. Grimm, creatures of fear, creatures of death, creatures of all of the things that should be feared. If they could be described, it would be as though they were those dark emotions that over flooded souls, those demons which refused to vanish even in front of the strongest monsters.. There were more of them.
More and more of them constantly. More and more of them that continued to flock towards them. He was only seven; it would never occur to him that he was the one that was drawing the demons towards them, it would never occur to him that this was all his fault...
Tears reached his brown eyes, soft orbs that were sweet and kind, filled with the sunlight of a million hearts. He didn't have the Warrior's Eyes as Dad called them of Mom and Tanager. He didn't have the skills of Ruby and Yang.. No. He was alone. Frightened. Terrified of everything.
And it was in that one moment of the yokai coming closer and closer to him that he breaks down completely. Crouching down on the ground while his brother battled against odds and foes that were so much bigger than him, he rocked back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth.. Just go away. Go away. Make it all just be a dream, a terrifying dream that had never came true.
"Daddy. Mommy. Big brother.." It was all he could do to not just shout at the top of his lungs. If he did that, the others would find him as well, a terrifying thought that would bring their wrath down on his big brother as well..
It was good Tanager seemed to be able to keep his own - after all.. Yuu was terrified enough for the both of them.
Finally, he was snapped out of his thoughts, his brother reaching down and grabbing his arm as he was slowly dragged away towards their older sister and their cousin. Oh Ruby, Yang.. Mom, Dad.. Someone please.
Please help...
[~Yang~]
"Hey! Have you guys seen two little boys running around? One has silver eyes and the other has br--"
The Ursa she was 'conversing' with roared outwards, raising back on his hindpaws more as he made a swipe towards her with his massive claws.
Bouncing out of the way, she flicked her hair back behind her shoulder, lilac eyes flashing slightly. "That was really rude, you know. You could have just said no!"
Not even hesitating, she activates her precious Ember Celica, the gauntlets covering her very fists - the fists that were already hard enough to shatter a face quite easily. A smile - dangerous and frighteninng - crossing her features, she lifted her arm back, slamming the fist right into the Ursa stomach, knocking it off guard and into the few Grimm that were already behind it.
"I suppose that was a Grimm landing, eyy?" she asks, turning her attention to her partner. Blake was always one of the quieter ones that kept her attention open for the big prize. It was always fun to see just how much trouble she could manage to get into - but then again, that couldn't always be a positive thing, right?
Spotting serious amber eyes turned in a particular direction, she growled as she noticed Ruby stuck between Grimm and White Fang members. She knew how much her sister hated fighting against fellow men - human or faunus. But if she continued to be this soft, she was going to get killed!
Aiming her way towards the girl, and an unfamiliar, oddly clad being, the blonde stopped as she heard the shout from Blake.
Tanager! Yuutaki!
Oh, this was not good.. Fists clenched together to help her bullets propel her quicker, Yang leaps off the top of the Ursa she had downed, shooting the bullets behind her to attempt to get to the boys far quicker.
[~Qrow Branwen~]
Skillful flashes of scythe appear and disappear as the master Hunter attacked with all the grain he was worth. Forward, backward, left, right.. Hacks and slashes, combined with parries and easily moved circles of sharpened blade cut down foes left and right. It seemed that Raven was a bit off with her portals this time, but it was what it was. There wasn't too much that he could do about it, other than to battle his way towards her.
It seemed that the grim katana weilder had already stirred up some trouble in her quadrant, however. Unable to hide the grin that was crossing his face, slicking his hair upright, he didn't even bother exchanging words with the Grimm - or the White Fang members - in front of him. That was a waste in breath and energy, energy that he needed to use to get to his boys.
He hadn't seen, or felt, anything of Summer since they had gotten here, and that was concerning. Maybe she hadn't been able to escape from Salem's clutches.. that would have definitely have been true.. But in that case, how had the boys?
"Ya wanna bite of me? Come and get it," he stated, flashing his scythe behind him again as he motioned with his pointer finger towards the beings in the vicnity.
Come get it and be lain dead upon the ground.

Ōku Nomoji
Ōku Nomoji [~Weiss Schnee~]
Oh, of all the things in the world for her to get herself involved with now! If she was on anyone else's team, she would have been able to rest and sleep! But noooo. She had to be on the 'heroic' team of RWBY.
Then again, she really had no problem with that. Rapier in hand, white hair flung over her shoulder, the skilled Huntress from Atlas focused her Semblance on the ground and air around her, glyphs appearing out of nowhere.
One underneath her feet began to glow with an icy white tint, sending her body flying into the air and into the next one. Almost as though it were a simple chain of reactions, Weiss was sent hurtling from one Glyph to the next, rapier reaching out to slash and destroy any Grimm and opponent that was in her way.
After all, mercy was not something that was going to be shown from her. Militant, strict, and with a key strategy, she was everything that a warrior from Atlas was composed of. Add into the nice mix of spontaneity and freewill that was summoned by Beacon, and one had a very, very dangerous opponent.
Icy blue eyes flash across to where Ruby and the others were, completely taking in all the information she had too in order to make another move. After all, she was there as back up for her friends as well - even though they all had to deal with their own issues... they also had to rely on each other.
Grimm arose in front of her, more and more of the swarm seeming to come closer towards them. Oh, what a lovely little issue they had walked into now!
[~Jotaro Kujo~]
"ORA!" Another punch, another fallen foe. Turqoise blues were filled with rage, fist sending out explosive power of the ones that pissed him off. They had definitely messed with the wrong people; most of these fighters that were around him were his own age - the girl that he had helped against the human fighters was definitely younger, same as the boys that she had disappeared to run after.
It seemed that they were siblings; he could tell that much just from the shouts that were rising all around him.. and that made him even more angry.
Flashing gold, the chain that hung around his neck slammed into another one of the members as his own punches and kicks sent more of the beings up into the air. After all, it was a good thing these people were here... Each of the events that had transpired today had started to piss him off and it seemed that these were the men that were going to be accepting the receipt in full.
It was then that she heard the thanks from the red-cloaked woman, a deep frown crossing his features. "... Thank me after we make it out of this," he states, fists closing with precision once more as he sent out a powerful punch.
Only then, as he noticed the girl leaving, did he realize that he was all alone in this war zone.. his body surrounded by foes on all sides, including the dangerous ... Grimm? that was surrounding them.
"Yare yare..." Well, if he was going to die, he was going to die in style. And style meant with all fists punching. He wasn't scared of death; the only thing that would bug him about it endlessly was the fact that his mother would know that he had never been home.. and would forever wonder where he was.
No. He couldn't worry his mother in that way. His father was already out of the picture. Gramps and the old lady lived in America.. Other than her friends, Holly Kujo would have no one else, no one around, and would be forced to remain alone for the rest of her days.
The anger filling him even more, his concern starting to rise, something seemed to sparkle and shine from behind him. Fists went punching again, but this time, it wasn't just the powerful punches of Jotaro.. it was something far, far more powerful.
Something that it seemed none of the other beings could see...
"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!" Bodies flew away from him in an instant, even when his fists were down at his sides, recoiling for another attack. Screams of concern and confusion filled the human voices from around them, several of the men groaning and bloodied on the ground before him.
They were going to need a hospital, and they were going to need it fast.. otherwise, they were going to die. Shaken but for a moment, he turned his turquoise eyes towards the gargantuan beasts in front of him..
Well, worst case scenario.. he had the power to defeat these punks now.

Polyxena Einar
Polyxena Einar { Tanager }
Though Tanager held a sword in his hand, his confidence was anything but absolute. It was a good thing the woman with hair like Dad’s was nearby; because Tanager never would have been able to hold off the sheer volume of Grimm that came swarming around them. He suspected it was his brother that was drawing them in, but as much as Tanager wanted to hug his little brother, and tell him everything would be alright.. He couldn’t; not until the fighting was over.
Not until Dad was with them.
“Yuutaki, just don’t go anywhere, okay?” The thirteen-year-old said with a forced smile. “Just stay right there.” He and the woman would defend his little brother for as long as possible.
But then, relief crept into his expression as a blur of red and black came to a halt beside them. Those aren’t tears of relief in Tanager’s eyes, he’d deny it if you asked!
“What took you so long, sis?” He asked their older sister. “Where’s Dad?”
If Ruby’s here, Dad’s //gotta// be close, right?
{ Ruby }
The young woman with red highlights in her black hair flashed her little brothers a small smile. “It’ll be okay. I promise. I won’t let the monsters get you.”
As she said this, however, she was taking in the state of her brothers, and Ruby was becoming //angry//. It looked like they’d been treated roughly, and to see them in such a state, to know she’d failed them… Ruby was beyond angered by their condition. Who would harm //children//?
It was one thing if they were old enough to be a threat, like she was – but Tanager wasn’t even a student at Beacon yet. And Yuutaki? He was barely more than a baby, in Ruby’s eyes.
She clenched her scythe tighter, her knuckles turning white as she turned to face the ever encroaching Grimm and the White Fang amongst them. The Huntress-in-training hadn’t had enough of a reason to fight the faunus who were amongst their enemy before. Now she had more than reason enough. Her eyes were almost sparking, with her anger; the power such silver eyes held so close to unleashing blindly.
Some of the weaker Grimm fled from the barely held back power. The others? They began to fall under the blade of Ruby’s Crescent Rose, as well.
“Yang! Weiss! Blake!” They were strongest when together. And it was too dangerous right now to try and get her little brothers out of harm’s way…so they would simply have to protect them.
She couldn’t let her eyes be unleashed. Mom had said she wasn’t ready.
{ Raven }
Spotting her brother at last, the black haired katana wielder relaxed slightly. Qrow had seen her, and his boys – he’d not let anything get in his way of making it to them, then. And with Ruby attending the boys, and protecting them now…
Well.
Raven could afford to cut loose, a little. It was time these White Fang members remembered just why they were afraid of her – and for the Grimm to fall beneath her blade. She sheathed her sword, and dodged a couple of attacks, before drawing it again. Gone was the red blade; in its place was a blue one.
Raven’s crimson eyes met her brother’s brown from across the distance. “Move.” She didn’t doubt that her brother would hear her, that he would do as bid.
Instead, Raven brought her sword before her vertically, and focused. With a dire slash, and a growing grin beneath her mask, a plethora of Grimm fell beneath her blade. Others within the katana’s dust reach were frozen in place, to be cut down easily and with extreme prejudice. And any among the White Fang who got in the way? Well, they fell as well.
It was time to put an end to this attack.
{ Blake }
Aware of Yang’s movements toward the two boys, Blake glanced around quickly. There were so many Grimm here, and although some of the weaker ones appeared to be running away, oddly… She wouldn’t be surprised if the stronger ones were being drawn in because of the two boys, however. Ruby had said the youngest was only seven…he must be so afraid.
And fear drew Grimm in.
With Yang moving in already, Blake looked for Weiss as she fell another of the creatures. Where was their Ice Queen?
Ah- there!
Blake left a series of shadow clones behind her, distracting the Grimm and some of the White Fang, to reconnect with one of her teammates, at least. The black cat gave her white-haired friend a smirk. “Ready for this, Weiss?”
It was time to move – Ruby and Yang needed them!
{ Glynda }
Grimm. In HER city? Glynda thought not.
A scowl on her lips, and her crop popping as she sent enemies flying, the professor stalked down the streets toward the largest concentration of Grimm, her high heels clicking. The going was slow – but she’d get there sooner or later.
Just HOW much damage would there be for her to fix THIS time?
