The pop cap landed exactly how he had wanted it. If Joseph would have wanted to severely injure the bunny, he would have easily at any given time, and he would have completely debilitated him at that point. A single pop cap that could have broken bones had left perhaps a bruise; nothing more, nothing less. And that was all that was important.
It bought the man time to race over towards him, making strange sounds as he ran. Maybe it was a breathing technique for the usage of his hamon, or maybe it was Joseph just being an idiot as usual; maybe it was a little bit of both. Asche would never know, and that would be for that human to know.
"Come back here, Bunny!" he shouted out, reaching out to grab at the demon the best he could. Could he connecct? That was the main question.

The leap would be the leap to get him out of this sticky situation. It will be be the leap that granted him his freedom from this insane basketcase of a human. He was going to go home after he took this leap.
Or, at least, he would have.
But he doesn't make the leap. Doesn't make it, because that aforementioned human somehow managed to catch up to him and latch onto one of his legs, and the rest of his body falls to the pavement, a string of curses screamed out from a wretched throat ad that speeding caf whizzes right past him and leaves him in the dust.
And to this, he twists his body, sending him a glare unlike any other before. "You...."

Joseph couldn't help but look down at the demon with a smug look on his face. He thought he could get away with talking shit to the great Joseph Joestar? That was something that was laughable. The only problem was that Granny Erina was going to have some words to say to the youth once he got back home, but hey! It wasn't like he was going to hurt Asche, right?
Still, he was going to be standing upright, helping the demon to his feet, a frown once again crossing his features just for a brief moment. "Where did you think you were going in such a hurry, little bunny?" Joseph asked, placing one hand against his forehead in a falsely pained gesture.
"I thought we were going to have a good chat and become best friends!"
Almost immediately, he pointed a finger at the other, turquoise eyes flashing slightly. "Your next line will be, 'Like I would want to become a friend with a shit stain like you.'"
